WHAT I AM READING—
The Economics of Neighborly Love: Investing in Your Community’s Compassion and Capacity by Tom Nelson. This important work speaks to how we can show neighborly love and concern for the least among us by showing them compassion and helping them build capacity in their lives and communities so that they may reach their God given potential.
WHAT AM I LISTENING TO—
Change Me by Tamela Mann. This song touches me on a deep level. It reminds me of the ways in which GOD has changed me and of the fact that despite HIS changing me, I still have areas of growth.
WHAT I AM WORKING ON—
I am currently working on a TED style talk for this October conference on helping Workers flourish at work.
WHAT I HAVE LEARNED ABOUT LIFE—
This is not a new lesson but i have been powerfully reminded this week that life is what you make it. I have been reminded again that we can make of our lives whatever we can envision.
WHAT I HAVE LEARNED ABOUT MYSELF—
I Learned this week after preaching six times in four days that I can give a little more than i thought. The Navy Seals say we on average only give 40%. I found that to be true this week. The 40% Rule
